Alison Apotheker has had poems published in Prairie Schooner, Mid-American Review, Crab Orchard Review, Cream City Review  and many other national literary magazines.  Her poetry has won an Oregon Literary Arts fellowship, and twice been nominated for a Pushcart Prize. Her first book, Slim Margin, was published in 2008.  She teaches writing and literature at Portland Community College.
