Linnea Harper lives on a tidal slough off the Alsea River in Waldport. She is a happily retired social worker who last worked at Lincoln County Mental Health. She was a finalist for the 2011 Bunchgrass Prize, and has poems forthcoming in the anthology Spirit First, and CALYX. She has been a member of the Tuesday writers' group for three years.
