Born and raised on the Florida Gulf Coast, Ron Bloodworth made Oregon his adopted home in 1978. Ron's interest in poetry began when he started wirting down lines that came to him during his daily jogging runs. One thing lead to another and poetry writing workshops and attendance at writing programs were the inevitable result. His long-term association with the Nulla Dies Sin Linea poets and others in Oregon's literary community has been a source of inspiration and support. His poems have appeared in Cloudbank, The Oregon Literary Review, The Oregonian, Work Literary Magazine, and Outwardlink. Ron lives in Portland with his partner of 27 years.
