Leah Stenson is a board member of Friends of William Stafford, coordinator and host of the Studio Series readings in Portland, and Regional Editior of the upcoming Ooligan Press anthology The Pacific Poetry Project. She has previously served as an assistant editor in New York City, a teacher of English at a university in Tokyo, and the Managing Director of the Oregon Peace Institute. She recently recieved the Ambassador of Peace Award from the SGI-USA.
