Floyd Skloot has published 17 books, including the memoir In the Shadow of Memory, which won a PEN USA Literary Award and Oregon Book Award; and Selected Poems: 1970-2005, winner of a Pacific NW Book Award. He is the winner of three Pushcart Prizes and his work has been included twice in The Best American Essays, Best American Science Writing, Best Spiritual Writing, and Best Food Writing anthologies. He lives in Portland.
