Liz Robinson was Portland, Oregon born and bred. She graduated from the Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre in New York City, and from Southern Oregon University as an English major. She taught young children for thirty years, racing with the arts across the curriculum. She's written two books — A Path of Words and Wordbent Woman — and a poetry pamphlet called A Gathering: Six Womansketches. Poets are her tribe and poetry her true and constant companion. She believes that "If you can think, you can write," and encourages you to do both.
